One thing I was struck by concerning the Gideons, was the strong desire these men have to remain devoted to their cause. There are seven spiritual objectives, and I wish to goodness more Christians would accept these seven commitments.

1) Men of the Book.
2) Men of prayer.
3) Men of faith.
4) Men of separated walk.
5) Men who witness.
6) Men of compassionate heart.
7) Men who give.

Gideon or not, all who claim to follow the Christ should strive eagerly to define their lives by these seven objectives.
